Paul Toornend is an architect and visual artist. He is working on the project ‘Untitled Space’, which revolves around the theory and design of a collective architectonic space. The project’s aim is an open and universal architecture. An architecture, or architectonic object, that acts purely as a spatial manipulation of images of its immediate environment. The intention is to actually realize a series of identical ‘Untitled Spaces’ in a variety of locations around the world. For the time being, realize is meant to be understood as ‘realizing’ in terms of photographic images. In the series of photographs, reflections have been captured in the glass façades. A revolutionary project that is introduced by five renowned art critics. They discuss the work from different points of view.
