This issue is the first monograph of NBBJ, a Seattle-based firm established in 1943. With pioneering companies such as Microsoft, Samsung, Amazon, Tencent, and more among its clients and collaborators, NBBJ offers design for life through a transdisciplinary culture marked by innovative simulation and advanced science. Fourteen recent and exemplary works were selected for this issue, demonstrating how NBBJ continues to build upon its legacy and surpass what it has accomplished in the past.
