Ferdinand Kramer (1898-1985) was an acclaimed German modernist furniture designer and architect. This book is dedicated to his architectural and design work for university buildings, including his commissions (by sociologists Max Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno) for the legendary Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt.
