Henry van de Velde in Jena: Dokumentation (German language). With his monument to Ernst Abbe, Van de Velde has emphatically enrolled in the image of the city of Jena. Less well-known are his design for a porcelain service from Selle and his project for a folk bath in Jena. Petra Weigel-Schieck systematically opens up Van de Velde's work in Jena, brightens personal relationships with the city and shows the process of "penetrating the latest art into a small university town" using partly unpublished original sources.
