The two masterpieces by Koloman Moser are 1) a pair of glass mosaics made for the Reading Room at the Beethoven Exhibition of the Vienna Secession XIV of 1902; The window leaves are made of opaque textured glass arranged in abstract floral design. And 2) a pair of chairs made for the dining room of the Hans and Gerta Eisler von Terramare apartment. The chairs are made of burr elm, snakewood and birdseye maple, all veneered with mother of pearl and several kinds of wood veneers. All illustrated with a number of color plates showing details of craftsmanship.
