10/10: Jim Jennings Architecture : Ten Projects, Ten Years

This book features ten projects in the Bay Area, designed over the course of ten years. Following in the tradition of the Modern movement, these built works and theoretical projects for residential and institutional buildings employ common materials such as steel and concrete in uncommon ways. Although the technical innovation and formal elegance of Jennings's work have attracted the attention of the international press, this volume is the first to examine Jennings's architecture in any detail. In addition to insights provided by the architect himself into each of the projects, this generously illustrated volume also includes essays by New York Times editor Pilar Viladas and architect Steven Holl.
