This book is a compilation of "Pavilion Tokyo 2021," a cultural program held in conjunction with the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. Nine pavilions by leading Japanese architects and artists are introduced with drawings, sketches, and photographs. The book includes an opening essay by Kengo Kuma, as well as contributions from experts in landscape, art, and architecture. It provides a comprehensive look at the pavilions that have already been dismantled, as well as an objective overview of the project that offers an insight into the current state of the city, architecture, and art.
