This books documents the design process and completed construction of Catalan winery Celler Perelada owned by the Suqué-Mateu family. Winners of the Pritzker Prize, RCR Arquitectes, were commissioned to design a new winery at the forefront of architecture and sustainability. With a respect for existing landscape, an old building designed in 1941 by Catalan architect Adolf Florensa was incorporated into the design. It is the first winery in Europe to hold the LEED® BD+C environmental and energy certification. With extensive photographs, detailed drawings, and texts by owner Javier Suqué Mateu, RCR Arquitectes, and other parties involved in this project.
