Models of Concern

A selection of fifty models, comprising executed models or concepts for interiors and products, made by the Amsterdam design firm Concern. The firm focuses on commercial and public spaces. Concern designed the refreshment areas for the renovated Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Aside from contemporary digital sketching, 3-D rendering and manual sketching, all of which are determined by the point of view of the person drawing or using desktop publishing technology, only the scale model can provide a close approximation of future reality. It certainly offers considerable advantages when presenting new projects.
