Filled with more than 180 pages of ruling, graph paper and gridded ledgers from around the world, this notebook is a diligent pupil’s dream as much as an idle student’s nightmare. Among its pages are examples collected from exercise books for a variety of age groups, functions and languages, plus ruling for special scripts, perspective drawings, stenography and even a chord chart. With these repetitive sets of lines one can practice writing styles as diverse as chancery italic, old German script, Hebrew, Riq’a calligraphy and Russian or Chinese characters, or compare the different rulings that Australian, German and French students use in the classroom.
