Contemporary Spanish projects influenced by Nordic architecture are showcased in this book, with essays reflecting the long-standing cultural exchange. A collaboration between Aarhus School of Architecture and Utzon Centre in Aalborg, it started as a research project that inspired an exhibition and this book. It celebrates the parallels, influences and translations between Nordic and Spanish architectural cultures, and also highlights the relevance of Nordic Modernism for the architectural culture in an international context. With personal accounts from Jose Ignacio Linazasoro, Luis Martinez Santa-Maria, and Javier Garcia-Solera, as well as a dialogue between Nacho Ruiz Allen and Raphael Moneo.
