The works by Atelier d'architecture Chaix & Morel et associes, presented through thirty projects and buildings, reveal an architecture that expresses a restrained elegance able to gracefully occupy and develop the contrasting qualities of their sites. The architectural critic Francois Chaslin decodes the environment and opportunities that have allowed Philippe Chaix and Jean-Paul Morel to stand out through their professional abilities. In this publication, a selection of their projects are discussed, including the Stadium of La Licorne in Amiens, the Zenith in Paris, the renovation of the Petit Palais and the rehabilitation of Paris VII university.
