Koen van Velsen - 16 projects

'Sober and chic, hard and soft, cool and warm, Spartan and lavish, unobtrusive and highly conspicuous' is how Hans Ibelings describes the different guises of this Dutch architect. Sixteen projects, ranging from apartments and housing to office buildings, and including his much admired Netherlands Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam are collected here. All projects are examined through colour photographs and in many cases accompanied by plans and elevations.
