Move shows how new social conditions are instrumentalized into architecture. Move introduces inclusiveness in the design approach; an integration of construction, routing and distribution of the programme. Move presents a manifesto against modernism, which is still based on techniques of fragmentation and collage. The architects Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos set up their architectural practice in Amsterdam in 1988. They have executed twelve internationally acclaimed projects, the best known of which are the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, the Möbiushouse and two museums of which the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart is the most recent. In addition to building they are active in the theoretical field.
