Spanish artist Nicolás Combarro circled the globe to collect this series of unlikely structures. Travelling through China, Mexico, Colombia, Morocco, Turkey, France, and Spain in search of unfinished vernacular objects and contemporary ruins, his interest manifests as an analysis of the different forms and expressions of constructed space, the variables of structure and material, and how changing climates and contexts are reflected in the development of patterns and types.
