There are about 1,400 species world-wide in the moth family Saturniidae. For over thirty years, Rudolf E. J. LAMPE has been studying more than three hundred of them. Furthermore, he has professionally photographed the stages of development from the egg, through the larval stages and pupation, to the adult moth.
