Trees of Cuba

This book has been produced not for academics but for anyone wishing to identify the most commonly seen trees in Cuba, whether they be in the city, beside the road, on the beach or in other parts of the island. There are well over 800 species of tree growing on the island, thus this volume presents only a sample of the enormous arboreal variety to be found in Cuba and around twenty of these trees have such beautiful flowers that they are frequently planted for ornamental purposes and thus also appear in the companion volume, Flowers of Cuba. The reader will find both native and cultivated species, which have been balanced to present an objective guide.
