The Death and Life of Great Asian Cities Vol I is the first in a three-part series containing work from over seven years of photographing cities in Asia. The first volume includes images from Osaka, Kobe, Taipei, Keelung, Kaoshiung, Busan, Hong Kong, Da Nang, Jakarta, Bangkok, Shanghai and Luang Prabang. Éanna de Fréine is an Irish photographer based in Berlin, and the founder of The Velvet Cell. His work focuses on our urban experiences. He attended Goldsmiths’s College, London, and received an M.A. in Photography & Urban Cultures.
